Nayab Ali
Nayab Ali has recently joined Ford School as an Assistant Program Manager, bringing with her extensive hands-on experience in policy and research. Prior to joining Ford, Nayab held positions at The Brookings Institution within their Governance Studies Program and at the Center for American Progress within their National Security and International Policy Team.
Nayab is a proud Alumna of the U.S. Department of State’s Kennedy Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program, where she was chosen as one of the select few to represent Pakistan in the United States. Her exceptional contributions have earned her multiple awards from the U.S. Department of State, including the "Student of the Month" award in January 2016, recognizing her outstanding engagement as an exchange student. Furthermore, she received a "Certificate of Appreciation" for her profound dedication to community service. Nayab is also a recognized TEDx speaker.
Nayab's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Political Studies from Pitzer College in California. Additionally, she holds an Honor Diploma in Politics, Policy & Leadership from Princeton University and has pursued further studies in Heroes & Human Rights, Peace Journalism, Music & Peacebuilding, and Environmental Sustainability at the Genesis Academy Summer Institute in Chicago.
