National and international news media turned to the Ford School's professor of practice Javed Ali to weigh in on issues surrounding the 9/11 terrorist attacks committed in the U.S. 25 years ago. He was featured in a story in The Detroit News discussing lessons learned from the attacks. Ali, who was in Washington, D.C., on 9/11, was also featured on Fox News and WWJ News Radio about his memories of that day. Internationally, Ali was interviewed for a story in Folha de S.Paulo in Brazil, observing that while the memory of 9/11 remains vivid, domestic terrorism has eclipsed foreign threats in the minds of most Americans.
